I place my life into His hands no matter how it falls The good and bad go hand in hand along the paths of life He lifts me up when I am feeling down He wipes away my tears He understands all the pain I feel since He endured much more When I don't know the words to say to tell other show I feel He knows my every thought so I know I'll never be alone He's just a prayer away!
He holds my hand and smiles with me when life is sailing along the sea of joy I never have to laugh alone as he is always by my side Too many times we take for granted the friendship that he offers We call on Him in times of strife Our prayers are filled with pleas Requests are made to help us out and make everything alright At times like these it is so easy to remember - He's just a prayer away!
But many times we let our friendship slide when life is treating us like kings We act as if we alone were the cause for all the good At times like these we need to stop and say Thank You to our friend We take for granted the blessings he bestowed on us and fail to act accordingly If only we would recognize His hand upon our lives The blessingsHe has in store for us go far beyond our freams And all it takes to run them into reality is such a simple thing No matter how life treats you - whether it be good or bad - Just stop and take a breath and remember - He's just a prayer away!
