Daddy's Love - The Gift That Keeps On Giving
As an eager little boy anticipates the joy of opening his gift, his smiling daddy joyously looks on
"What do you have there, my boy?"
Daddy gently holding standard schanuzer puppy as big brother and his other standard schanuzer look on eagerly
Hey - don't forget there's a little puppy in here

I can see it in your eyes each time you look upon our son

Such utter love and devotion for our gift from above.

What a blessing it is to see a man who would do anything

to protect the innocence of his son.

When you speak about him your eyes begin to dance,

a smile covers your face from ear to ear and your gait becomes lighter

Nothing else in the world matters at that very moment

except for you and he.

My blessings are doubled when I look upon his precious face

gazing up at his daddy - a man who could do no wrong.

Every gesture of yours he mimics or every word that he repeats

reaffirms my belief that God knew just what He was doing

when He placed us all as one.

The Love of a Father for a Son

The Love of a Son for a Father

What greater gift could I be given

than to see daily this love lived out in words and in deeds.

This love is a gift which left unopened would just wither and die.

What joy it is to see that this gift between you both

is opened wide and shared for all the world to see.

You are not just a father to him, but you are his "daddy"

- a word that evokes images of love, security

and comfort with every utterance.

The sound of which brings tears of joy to my eyes

each time I hear it spoken.

The Love of a Father

The Love of a Son

The gift that grows stronger

each time that it is given.

I am proud not only to call you "my beloved husband"

but also to say "my little boy’s daddy"

No sweeter words could ever be spoken.

Thank you for the gift of a lifetime!
