2010 has been a great
year in Baseball for Artie -
he has played multiple positions
from right and center field to 2nd base (in which he is amazing) and even pitched some this year.
He caught his 1st to pop flies and was giddy with excitement - as were we.
Once again, he had amazing coaches who made the game
fun - even when they lost.
Sportmanship was the primary focus and our team's
boy did an outstanding job showing great
sportmanship, even when the play were called against them invalidly.
Artie (and all his teammates) made us proud to be
their parents.
Artie - you are our pride and joy and we love you dearly!

I just love spending time with my family. Unfortunately, our family is scattered throughout the good old USA so we  cannot do it as often as we would like. But when we do get together it is always such a wonderful time.  Regardless of whether we have tons of activities and special events planned or we just take the time to relax and enjoy each other's company the time we spend together is PRICELESS.  Memories are being formed that we can carry with us for our lifetime and through the wonderous  use of the camera we no longer have to rely soley on our memories but we have concrete pictures that we can look at anytime we want to relive some of those special times. Even more importantly, we can pass down the pictures from generation to generation.

One of my primary goals for the coming year(s) is to continue getting all of the old family photographs scanned into the computer and turned into video DVD's that the entire family can then enjoy.

A great gift idea that our family often utilizes are photo books.  They can easily be made for any special occasion (or for no reason at all other than to say "I Love you and am thinking of you".  What better gift is there to give a loved one then th chance to walk down memory lane whenever they want to?

So this year, consider pulling out your camera, taking lots of pictures (love digital cameras as you can take hundreds in a day and not have to worry about the cost) and making some photobooks for your friends and family.

PHOTO TIP of the day:  Never delete pictures from the camera when viewing them through the camera screen.  You do not always get an accurate feel for what the picture truly looks like until you have uploaded it to your computer and looked at it on a full screen.  And now with so many FREE photo editing programs available for the computer anyone can make easy corrections to pictures that you might have considered deleting in the past.

Most of all - remember - HAVE FUN!!!
