I've got a ring around my finger that shows my husband I am his It's there for all the world to see that it's not me or he but rather we This ring is made of so much more than the diamonds or the gold that they adorn It's made of all the love we've shared over the years that we've been wed Experiences that were shared - whether they be good or bad - have helped to make this ring the great work of art it is
It has no beginning - just as God destined us to be one - long before we were born No end exists either because our love is meant to last all through our lives Although some may think that a heart better reflects true love Those feelings I don't share A heart is easily broken and often difficult to mend But take a closer look at an ordinary circle No end or no beginning means no easy place tear
So, if times get tough in our relationship, with a circle we are blessed We push on through whatever gets in our path Yet our feet are planted firmly on the circle we have made As we move through the good times and the bad, the circle that makes up our bond gets stronger with every step Our lives and our love are entwined to strengthen than circle forever And the circle leaves a simple reminder that I am his and he is mine!
